Congratulations to Wiser Healthcare researchers, Prof Katy Bell, Prof Denise O’Connor and Dr Gustavo Machado, who were each awarded one of the highly competitive 2023 NHMRC Investigator Grants!
Professor Katy Bell was awarded $2.7 million for driving the transition to high value testing to benefit the health of all.
Professor Denise O’Connor was awarded $2.7 million for harnessing implementation science to drive the right care.
Dr Gustavo Machado was awarded $1.5 million for reshaping the management of musculoskeletal pain.
National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Investigator Grants support the four pillars of health and medical research – biomedical, clinical, public health and health services research. The scheme is designed to allow researchers flexibility to pursue important new research directions, to form collaborations, and aims to foster innovative and creative research.
