Prime Minister Anthony Albanese officially opened the new Institute for Musculoskeletal Health building in Camperdown.

The Australian PM was joined at the event by Health Minister Mark Butler, Member for Sydney Tanya Plibersek, University of Sydney Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Scott, Sydney Local Health District Board Chair Karen Crawshaw PSM and the District's Acting Chief Executive Dr Genevieve Wallace.

The PM and Health Minister also announced an outstanding $100M, delivered through the Medical Research Future Fund, to turbocharge research into arthritis and similar diseases.
