It can lead to service improvements and research findings that improve outcomes for patients. This award in Health Research and Innovation recognises this achievement.

The Sydney Excellence Awards encourage healthcare innovation and excellence, recognising the outstanding contributions of staff and volunteers across the Sydney Local Health district (LHD). There are a total of 14 award categories, covering program, project and individual awards. These Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the people and the extraordinary work undertaken to deliver on the Sydney LHD vision of ‘Excellence in health and healthcare for all’.
